ABOUT THE SURVEY

The objective of this survey is to record and update national developments on R&D conducted in the financial years 2009, 2010 and 2011. The data from the survey will be used by the government and policy makers to develop a benchmark for R&D activities in the country, as well as to develop and implement national policies, strategies, plans, incentives and funding on R&D that would be of benefit to institutions or companies.

This survey is undertaken by the Malaysian Science and Technology Information Centre (MASTIC), under the auspices of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).

The information provided in this survey form is to be based on the institution's R&D activities in the financial years 2009 - 2011.
